Canada

If you completed your qualification in Canada, your equivalent grade average will be determined by:

  • OSSD: average of the best 6 University and/or University/College courses
  • Alberta: average of the best 5 Level 30 Provincial Diploma Exams
  • British Columbia: average of the required Language Arts 12 provincially examined subject + three grade 12 4 credit subjectsFrom 2014 onwards.
  • Manitoba: average of best 5 grade 12 results
  • New Brunswick: average of best 5 grade 12 results
  • Newfoundland: average of best 5 grade 12 results
  • Nova Scotia: average of best 5 grade 12 resultsLevel 3 (grade 12) or 4 (advanced placement) subjects.
  • Prince Edward Island: average of the best 5 grade 12 resultsEnriched/Advanced or Academic subjects only.
  • Saskatchewan: average of the best 5 grade 12 resultsLevel 30 subjects and advanced subjects..

USA

If you completed your qualification in the USA, you must provide evidence of completion of your USA High School Diploma. Your equivalent grade average will be determined by:

  • SAT-I (2005 to January 2016): the total of Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing
  • SAT-I (March 2016 to present): the total of Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Mathematics
  • ACT: total exam score
  • Advanced Placement (AP) exams: an aggregate of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 AP exams.A=5, B=4, C=3 (Pass), D=2, E=1 Where more than 4 exams have been taken, your score will be an aggregate of the best 4 results.
