US Federal Government loans

US Federal Government loans can be used to assist students in paying for educational expenses such as tuition, books, living expenses and overseas student health insurance.

UQ is accredited by the United States (US) Department of Education to administer various need-based loans to eligible US students and/or parents as part of the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program (DL).

The US Department of Education does not offer grants and scholarships to students studying at educational institutions outside the US. Loans are the only available financial aid while studying at UQ and other foreign schools.
