7. Responding to your offer

If you receive an offer to study with us, congratulations!

The steps you need to follow to respond to your offer depends on how you applied:

  • If you applied to UQ, please log in to My Applications to view and accept your offer. 
  • If you applied to QTAC, you will need to accept your offer through the QTAC website.

If you want to defer your offer, please contact the relevant faculty for advice (if you applied to UQ), or visit the Deferring your QTAC Offer page (if you applied to QTAC).

Once you have accepted your place in a UQ program, you will need to enrol in courses.

Attend Orientation and begin your UQ study experience

With a full program of social and academic activities, Orientation Week – or “O-Week” – is designed to introduce you to life and study at UQ.

O-Week is held in the week immediately before the start of Semester 1 and Semester 2. It's a great way to meet new people and find your way around campus.

Applying to UQ

To apply directly to UQ, create an applicant account and complete all details requested in the application form, attaching all required documentation as per the program entry requirements and any other additional information requests.

QTAC applications

To apply for the Diploma in Arts, Diploma in Science, Graduate Diploma in Education, Master of Teaching (Primary) or Master of Nursing Studies, submit your application online through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).
