Title

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander alternative entry scheme

Body

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit provides a range of support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, from admission through to graduation.

If you identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person on your QTAC application, you will be invited to apply to the University through an alternative entry scheme managed by the unit.

How does it work?

All applications for admission must be made online through QTAC and you must list UQ as a preference. You must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander on your QTAC application.

Once you have nominated a UQ program as a QTAC preference, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit will be notified and will send you an alternative entry scheme application package.

How do I apply?

If you apply through QTAC and identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, you are automatically eligible for the alternative entry scheme.

For more information, see the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit website.
