Entry scores for international students studying Year 12 in Australia

Body

International students currently studying Year 12 in Australia or the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) in New Zealand apply for all undergraduate programs through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).

Current Queensland Year 12 students receive an OP on the basis of their overall achievement at school in comparison with other students. OPs are determined by the Queensland Studies Authority and range from 1 to 25, with 1 being the highest.

Students studying Year 12 in other Australian states are allocated an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR), while International Baccalaureate (IB) students receive an IB Score.

The University reviews entry requirements annually.

** Entry on the basis of specified requirements, and audition, interview and musicianship test.
*** Medicine - students must have undertaken either the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Test (UMAT) or the International Student Admissions Test (ISAT) in the year of application, achieving a minimum score of 50 in each section of the UMAT or a minimum score of 60 in each section of the ISAT
