In 2021, the public health workforce continues its critical role in preventing disease, prolonging life and improving health. 

Join us for a keynote presentation from Professor Colleen Lau, an expert in emerging infectious diseases, neglected tropical diseases and clinical travel medicine. Colleen will speak about her journey from medicine to public health research, and the critical role her multidisciplinary research plays in improving the health of patients and communities.  

Following the keynote there will be an opportunity to meet with our public health experts, and ask any questions you have about the field or the courses that UQ offers.
