UQ provides a respectful and supportive environment for students of all faiths and religions.
With one of the most diverse student communities of any Australian university, we recognise that a spiritual/religious journey can be an important, balancing complement to the numerous challenges you may face in the pursuit of academic and career goals.
You can get help with pastoral care matters relating to your personal, family, religious or spiritual life through our Multi-Faith Chaplaincy service. Chaplains representing the Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and many Christian faiths are available to all, and there is a well-appointed prayer, meditation and worship space.
Our aim is to provide an enriching, meaningful learning environment where enduring friendships among people of all religious backgrounds can foster.
The UQ Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Service is located on the St Lucia and Gatton campuses.
