Gatton campus is located on the Warrego Highway, just over an hour’s drive west of Brisbane and 10 minutes from the centre of Gatton.

Getting to Gatton: Bus

Gatton campus is served by a University bus service and private bus lines.

Inter-campus bus

UQ staff and students can use a free inter-campus bus service that runs between St Lucia and Gatton campuses.

The service doesn't operate on public holidays and the timetable is reduced during semester breaks. Bookings are essential.

Private bus lines

Greyhound and Murrays coaches run between Brisbane and Gatton campus several times each day.

The Greyhound stop name for UQ Gatton is 'Gatton College'. Murrays coaches must be booked in advance for the bus to stop at Gatton campus.

Getting to Gatton: Train

A rail-bus service runs between Brisbane and Gatton.

From Brisbane, you can catch an Ipswich-Rosewood-line train to Rosewood station and then transfer onto the 539 bus to Gatton campus. The whole journey takes about 2 hours.
