Other UQ sites across Queensland

In addition to UQ's three main campuses, we have a diverse range of facilities off-campus, with the following just a snapshot of the 40+ world-class teaching and research sites dotted around the State.

Heron Island Research Station
Internationally renowned for coral reef and ecological research, UQ’s Heron Island Research Station is a world-class teaching facility located on the magnificent Great Barrier Reef.
Moreton Bay Research Station
Located on North Stradbroke Island, the UQ Moreton Bay Research Station has direct access to Pacific Ocean waters as well as the unique terrestrial environments of the 27,700-hectare sand island.
Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence
Home to the UQ School of Pharmacy, PACE is a state-of-the-art facility which combines pharmaceutical research, education and commercialisation in a unique health precinct.
Translational Research Institute (TRI)
Located alongside the Princess Alexandra Hospital, TRI is an Australian-first initiative of "bench to bedside" medical research, advancing progress from laboratory research to application in the community.
