Interested in global peace and conflict? UQ offers five postgraduate programs that will deepen your knowledge of peacekeeping and peacebuilding, and provide you with the practical skills to engage in conflict resolution.

Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies
This six-month program covers the fundamentals of how conflicts emerge and how they can be managed. It will suit those with an approved degree, or a combination of post-secondary study and work experience.
Master of Peace and Conflict Studies – 24 units
This 18-month program is for students with a qualification in the same area, or a mix of work experience and a degree. Undertake advanced coursework and optional fieldwork to gain practical skills in conflict analysis and resolution, peacekeeping and peacebuilding.
Master of Peace and Conflict Studies – 16 units
Undertake advanced coursework in this one-year program suitable for students with an approved honours degree.
Master of Peace and Conflict Studies – 32 units
Complete core and specialised coursework in this two-year program suitable for those with an approved degree in any discipline.
Master of International Relations/Peace and Conflict Studies
Undertake advanced coursework as you complete two degrees in two years.
