There are a number of dates and deadlines to keep track of when applying for university. Many of these dates are managed by organisations that are independent of UQ. The most significant dates to be aware of are:
QTAC manages several major deadlines, which are listed on the QTAC Key Dates page. These include:
The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority is responsible for publishing OPs and Year 12 results.
In many instances, after the release of OPs in December, your child may be able to change their QTAC preferences.
We'd love to see you at our UQ Open Day, where you can speak with academics, take a campus tour and attend information sessions.
There is also a range of events for prospective students and their parents throughout the year.
After the release of OPs, we host an annual OP Results Advice Night for prospective students.
The night is designed to let your child discuss their UQ study options after receiving their OP and gives them the opportunity to speak face-to-face with experts from all our study areas.
If your child wants to change their preferences after attending the OP Results Advice Night, they will have to do this through QTAC.
