Why study the Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership

A successful business career requires an understanding of different business environments and the ability to lead teams to optimum performance. The Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership is designed for professionals who already have some leadership or supervisory experience and want to take their career to the next level.

The program will enhance your understanding of the key competencies and skills required for executive career development. It focuses on core business activities such as finance, marketing, leadership and strategy. You will learn about contemporary issues in leadership and understand the communication and negotiation skills required to successfully lead a team.

This program is not available for international students in 2017.

Entry requirements

Prerequisites

Bachelor degree or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.00 on a 7 point scale and four years full-time work experience post-graduation including at least two of the four years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the Executive Dean; OR seven years full-time work experience including at least three of the seven years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the Executive Dean.
