Entry requirements

Prerequisites

Bachelor degree or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.00 on a 7 point scale and four years full-time work experience post-graduation including at least two of the four years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the Executive Dean; OR seven years full-time work experience including at least three of the seven years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the Executive Dean.

English Proficiency

IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ, view the English proficiency policy.

Visa requirements

International students who are accepted into full-time study in the Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership are eligible to apply for an Australian student visa.

The "indicative program fee" is the cost of enrolling in the Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership for one semester in 2018. It is calculated based on a standard full-time study load.

A standard full-time study load is 8 units per semester. The fee for part-time study is proportionately lower.

  • Official transcripts of previous studies.
  • Evidence of work experience including details of management experience in the form of a CV. Please ensure that your CV includes your full work history, and outlines the major activities you undertake on a daily basis.
  • Evidence of residency status.
  • Permanent residents will be required to sit an IELTS test if their prior studies were taught in an institution where English was not the language of instruction.
