You’ll study the fundamentals of general, physical, organic and inorganic chemistry and gain the practical skills to work in a range of different labs.

Apply your knowledge to a specialised field such as nanotechnology, computational chemistry, spectroscopy, or to develop medicines or consumer products.

This major is accredited by the Royal Australian Chemical Society.

A background in Chemistry will lead to a broad range of career opportunities such as environmental, analytical and research chemists, or roles in private companies, councils, state and federal governments.
