Bachelors of Science/Arts

Learn scientific techniques to sustainably manage the Earth’s minerals, energy sources or natural resources.

You’ll learn how remote-sensing technologies and geographical information science (GIS) software are used for field mapping, data analysis, and data modeling.

Study mineral and rock analysis, economic geology, mining geology, energy resources, environmental geology, marine geology, palaeobiology or geochemistry. You’ll develop and apply your knowledge through practical laboratory experience, fieldwork, and specialised seminars.

You’ll be equipped to kick-start your career in the mining sector, natural resource management, and exploration for energy resources or environmental planning with engineering companies.
