Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics

The Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics is designed for graduates in science, IT, engineering or an approved discipline, or experienced professionals, who wish to develop and effectively use best bioinformatics practice to solve scientific problems. It will also help provide a preparation for entry into a Higher Degree by Research program.

Bachelor degree in Science, IT, Engineering or an approved discipline, with UQ or equivalent GPA of 4.5 or above on a 7 point scale; or

5 years of work experience in the same discipline.

International students who are accepted into full-time study in the Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics are eligible to apply for an Australian student visa (subclass 500).
