Come to UQ on Friday 23 October from 12:30–3:30pm to find out about studying in The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Science, a powerhouse for some of the world’s leading scientists, teachers and science programs.

Whether you are interested in agriculture, plant and animal sciences, the environment, mathematics or chemistry, UQ will help you develop the specialist scientific skills you need to undertake a key role in solving the challenges facing our world today.

What does the day involve?

You will take a tour of our St Lucia campus and attend a presentation by UQ Science staff and students about:

  • Your study options and degree programs
  • Admissions requirements, pathways and how to apply
  • Volunteering, internships and careers after graduating
  • Research opportunities
  • Life as a UQ student

Event schedule

12:30 – 1:00pm     Meet and register at Merlo's Coffee in the Great Court, St Lucia Campus
1:00 – 2:00pm       St Lucia campus tour
2:00 – 3:30pm       Faculty presentation by Science staff and students (Chemistry Building (68), Room 214)

Meet at Merlo’s Coffee in the Great Court, St Lucia campus where a student ambassador will take you on a campus tour before dropping you to your faculty presentation at Chemistry building (68), Room 214.
