1. Overview

UQ's Doctor of Medicine (MD) is an internationally recognised four-year program designed to produce graduates who are committed to compassionate, ethical health care and the expansion of medical knowledge.

Approximately 90 places are available for international students each year.

Some of these places are filled by students who are accepted into the MD as provisional entry school leavers. These students begin the MD after graduating from an undergraduate program at UQ.

The remaining places are filled by students from the direct entry for graduates pathway.
