Junior Physics Odyssey

Do you have a passion for physics?

The Junior Physics Odyssey (JPhO) is a four-day non-residential program held at the UQ St Lucia campus for Year 10 students interested in physics, science, and mathematics.

Event sessions

What's involved

  • Learn important principles of physics that will prepare you for senior physics
  • Hear from UQ researchers on topics such as quantum physics, relativity and astrophysics
  • Get hands-on experience in modern physics through experiments and tours of research labs
  • Meet current UQ students and discover how much fun it is to be around people who love science and research

Cost

$220 (incl GST). Financial assistance is available for a limited number of students.
