Project description

You will aim to develop computer vision and machine learning based algorithms to automatically analyse human sports quality and performance. It will also generate analysis reports to help humans to improve their daily exercise efficiency and health conditions. You will have some basic understanding of human movement and bio-mechanism. More importantly, you should have proficiency in programming and deep learning algorithms.

Scholarship

This project is supported by the Research project scholarship.

This scholarship includes:

  • living stipend of $35,000 per annum tax free (2024 rate), indexed annually
  • tuition fees covered.

This scholarship includes:

  • single overseas student health cover (OSHC) for international students.

Preferred educational background

A working knowledge of computer science would be of benefit to someone working on this project.

You will demonstrate academic achievement in the field(s) of computer vision and computer graphics and the potential for scholastic success.

A background or knowledge of math is highly desirable.
