Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Supported by your advisory team, you will undertake a research project, produce an 80,000-word thesis and complete an oral examination.
Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
Supported by your advisory team, you will undertake a research project, produce a 40,000-word thesis and complete an oral examination.
Doctor of Biotechnology
This program is for scientists who are interested in the technical, legal, and business aspects of biotechnology and research ventures.
Doctor of Veterinary Clinical Science
This residency program is designed for already qualified veterinarians. Successful applicants receive a $45,000 tax free living stipend.

Develop a project
Find a UQ researcher to supervise you and collaborate to develop a project.
Apply for a Graduate School scholarship for tuition and ~$29K a year for living expenses.
Join a research project
Or, join an existing project linked to UQ's groundbreaking research.
You'll receive an earmarked scholarship to cover your tuition and ~$29K a year for living expenses.
Top-up scholarships
You might be eligible for a top-up scholarship, giving you another ~7-14K a year on top of your living stipend.
